Stop #1 Altos de Chavon 

Called the cultural center of the east, Altos de Chavon is a replica of a 16th century Mediterranean village. The selfie potential is endless, as you find yourself 300 feet above the Chavon River. Check out the many shops and the Roman amphitheater. Home to more than 3,000 Taino artifacts dive in to Dominican history or choose to spend your time tasting chocolate in the chocolate museum.  

Stop #2  Estrellas del Este Home Game

There must be something in the water- because San Pedro de Macoris is the birthplace for more professional players than any other place in the country.  Called the “cradle of Shortstops” witness homegrown talent for yourself. With players like Sammy Sosa, Julio Franco, and Robinson Cano hailing from this small sugar mill town, you can bet the game will be exciting!
